Possible pack ice -like features observed by the Mars Express suggests that a frozen sea exists on the equatorial Elysium region of Mars and that it formed about 5 million years ago. This is far, far from certain, but would be one of the biggest findings in the history of Mars exploration if proven true. I am personally very cautious about this. More.
