TWO PALESTINIANS KILLED BY ISRAELI OCCUPATION ON FRIDAY, INCLUDING BROTHER OF MAN KILLED ON SUNDAY

TWO PALESTINIANS KILLED BY ISRAELI OCCUPATION ON FRIDAY, INCLUDING BROTHER OF MAN KILLED ON SUNDAY

On Sunday Shadi Muhammad Mahmoud Khasib(32) was shot and killed by illegal Israeli settler near the illegal colony of Kafr Adumim on occupied West Bank after he allegedly "rammed" his car into another vehicle and "came out with a knife".
On Friday, his brother Fadi Muhammad Mahmoud Khasib(25) was shot by illegal Israeli settler near the illegal colony of Kafr Adumim after he allegedly hit two Israel's occupation soldiers with his car and supposedly "lightly injured" them.

Fadi Khasib was left to bleed to death without being given medical aid. The placement of his body well away from his car and the road implies that he was shot in the back by while trying to escape.

This denial of medical aid is a war crime, but something that is treated as 'normal' by 'Western' media when it deigns to report at all about Israeli killings of Palestinians. Inhuman, criminal behaviour becomes accepted when Palestinians are being left to die in the name of Israel.

Was this incident co-incidence or attempt at revenge by Fadi Khasib? Certainly its evidence of the brutal and duplicitous nature of Israeli occupation, under which Palestinians can be and are killed without punishment after minor incidents by armed Israeli "civilians" acting as militia in support of the occupation.

Both brothers were married and had children. Fadi lived in Ein Misbah.

Later on Friday afternoon teenager Omar Arafat Issa al Zaaqiq(19) was shot and killed in his car by Israel's occupation forces soldiers at the entrance to the village of Beit Ummar on West Bank.

Israeli occupation claimed that he had deliberately driven at Israeli occupation soldiers on the gravel road and would have injured five or six of them, with four "moderately" and rest "lightly".

Based on the scene, the car could not have travelled very fast. On the bench beside with al-Zaaqiq was a flag of Palestine. He was unarmed and posed no harm to the occupation soldiers at least after his car had stopped.

Like Fadi Khasib, Omar al-Zaaqiq was left to bleed to death on the scene by Israel's occupation forces, which, while not giving him first aid were still capable of stripping his clothes off.

The idea that Israel and Jewish Israelis can't commit war crimes by like this just because Israel claims to be Jewish is deeply rooted in 'Western' thinking and reflected in the mainstream media's portrayal of events. This extreme philosemitism is a mirror image of antisemitism - claimed identity, not actions, matter.

Israel's occupation forces closed all entrances to the village after the incident, which according to local source happened after Israel's occupation forces had blocked local people from getting to a funeral that was taking place.
