From our Twitter account: ISRAELI OCCUPATION BRIEFLY ARRESTS THE WASHINGTON POST'S BUREAU CHIEF
Israel's occupation forces arrested The Washington Post's local bureau chief Booth Williams in Palestine's occupied East Jerusalem today after illegal Israeli settler had made a complaint of him interviewing people near the Damascus Gate.
Williams was questioned for 'incitement' at Israel's paramilitary Border Guards' station before he was released.
According to a source in Israeli media, Israeli occupation's police spokesman would have accused Williams of "paying money to Arabs so they make provocations".
This incident shows that even those reporters working for 'Western' mainstream media organizations that have a strong pro-occupation bias are seen as threats by Israel. Israel wants total control over what is being reported from Palestine and about Palestine.
