TEENAGE GIRL KILLED IN HEBRON

Israel's occupation forces have killed a teenage girl in Hebron near the Ibrahimi Mosque, claiming that she had "tried to stab a soldier". Her name is still unknown. Age estimates are 15 or 18 years.

There are conflicting versions of the events, according to one:

Occupying soldiers had stopped her to ask for identification papers, and as she had reached to her bag and took out something - perhaps just her ID - the soldiers pushed her away, against an adult male Palestinian civilian and opened fire. The man would have been wounded from the gunfire also.

According to a second version she had a knife and succeeded in lightly injuring an Israeli occupation soldier, and was then grabbed by the aforementioned male, who she would have stabbed - perhaps believing that she was an illegal Israeli settler - and moderately wounded, although he would have supposedly tried to save her from being shot by grabbing her.

She was shot 4-7 times, allegedly left without medical aid and dragged from the road to a dead-end side street where she was left to die. Palestinian ambulance was not allowed to reach her.

The Palestinian man was taken away to a hospital by an Israeli ambulance operating illegally in Hebron.

In photos from the scene, a lot of illegal Israeli settlers are mixing with Israel's occupation soldiers.
