ISRAEL'S OCCUPATION FORCES KILLED TEEN BOY ON WEDNESDAY

16 y/o Ahmad Yousef Amer was shot and killed on Wednesday by Israel's occupation forces in the West Bank. The roots of what happened to him go back to the events on Tuesday.

On Tuesday Israeli police shot Abd Al-Rahman Radad(17) in Petah Tikva in Palestine 1948 and he was left to bleed to death while Israelis around him shouted verbal abuse at him.

He was accused of 'moderately injuring' Israeli man in his late 30s with a knife. According to Israeli authorities and media the teenager was "an Arab terrorist", but other sources have brought up the possibility that the situation started as an argument and escalated into a brawl.

Radad lived in the village of al-Zawiya aka Al-Zawyeh in the northern Salfit district of occupied West Bank. After his identity became known, Israel's occupation forces invaded his home village and put it under a blockade. On Wednesday the occupation forces shot two teenagers on the outskirts of the village.

One of the teenagers, whose identity has been not mentioned in any source we have seen, survived although both were left bleeding on the ground. Ahmad Yousef Amer died.

Israeli occupation claims that Ahmad Amer had approached occupation soldiers "armed with a knife... intending to stab". No Israel's occupation soldiers were injured and no knife can be seen in photographs from the scene, only a pen in the ground beside Amer.

Amer is said to have left a letter to his parents saying goodbye and asking forgiveness and mentioning debts of 60 shekels he owed to his school-friends. This, we believe, shows he expected to die, but it doesn't prove he had a knife.

What it does show is the bleak situation of Palestinian children under Israel's occupation, whose desperation sometimes drives them to what is, in essence, suicidal behaviour when faced with a life of perpetual oppression without opportunities to even try to make their dreams come true.

Ahmad Amer was buried later on Wednesday.
