ISRAELI OCCUPATION SOLDIERS BEATS KILLED MAN'S FATHER-IN-LAW INTO COMA, TRY TO GET HIS WIFE TO MISCARRY
Starting from 01:30 at night on Wednesday August 3rd Israel's occupation forces raided the home of Mohammed al-Faqih's father-in-law Zuhair Barakat Awda in the town of Qalqilya. His wife Hadeel Awda, four months pregnant, was staying with her father.
Both father and daughter were beaten by Israel's occupation forces.
It was the latest attack on al-Faqih's relatives; on August 1st Israel's occupation forces kidnapped his brother Hussein Jubara al-Faqih and four other male relatives from the town of Dura.
THE BACKGROUND
Mohammed al-Faqih was killed in his home in the village of Surif on July 27th by Israel's occupation forces, which claim that he would have been behind an attack against illegal Israeli settlers on July 1st.
A middle-aged male illegal Israeli settler was killed and his wife and teenage children injured after their car was shot and it crashed, turning over in the Hebron district of occupied West Bank.
Another man has been kidnapped by the Israeli occupation, which claims he was al-Faqih's accomplice.
ISRAELI ATTEMPT TO CAUSE MISCARRIAGE
During Wednesday's raid two female Israeli occupation soldiers are claimed to have hit and pushed Hadeel Awda in her abdomen, beaten her in her back, dragged her on the floor, thrown her against a wall and pushed her against a door.
The occupation soldiers, according to her, had said that they wanted her to miscarry her child.
As this happened, she was alone at home and was interrogated there by the occupation soldiers after enduring the beating.
FATHER BEATEN UNCONSCIOUS
Hadeel's father Zuhair Awda arrived back home when Israeli occupation soldiers were taking his daughter away and tried to stop them. He suffered an inter-cranial hemorrhage and lung damage from the beating he then received, falling unconscious on the scene.
According to his daughter, Zuhair Awda was left to lie on the ground for half an hour by Israeli occupation forces without medical aid being given to him. As the occupiers realized his severe condition, they left according to her.
After Israeli occupation forces withdraw, leaving Hadeel behind, he was taken into an UNRWA hospital in Qalqilya and was later reported to having fallen into a coma and being in a serious to critical condition in an Israeli hospital as reported on Thursday.
His chances of recovery are reported as being 'slim'.
