ISRAEL KILLS OCCUPIED HEBRON YOUTH TWO DAYS AFTER KILLING HIS COUSIN

On Wednesday, two days after Israeli occupation killed his cousin, 19 y/o Ehad Fathi Miswada, 21 y/o Abdul-Rahman (in one source Yosri) Zakariyya Miswada was himself killed also in Hebron by Israel's occupation forces.

Ehad Miswada's family was still receiving mourners coming to say their condolences when Abdul-Rahman was killed. 

Ehad Miswada was killed near the Ibrahimi mosque, Abdul-Rahman Miswada on the Shuhada Street. These are among the central locations of the struggle for Hebron, places from which Israel and it's illegal settlers try to push Palestinian natives out.

After he was shot, Abdul-Rahman was still alive, seen moving on the ground in a very short video posted in social media sites.

Israel's occupation forces didn't allow Palestinian medics to approach him and didn't give him any medical aid themselves, which is a war crime. As a result of this deliberate negligence he died. 

Israel's occupation forces claim that Abdul-Rahman stabbed an Israeli occupation soldier in the chest, the occupation soldier being "moderately injured" and illegal Israeli settler, the son of a Knesset member Orit Struck from the fanatical Jewish Home -party.

The latter was claimed to have a "light injury" in leg. In early sources it was said that both injured members of the Israeli occupation were soldiers; it was later reported that one was an illegal settler.

There is no reason to suspect that this stabbing claim is false, it seems to be among the minority of them which actually happened. There is photographic evidence of injuries to the occupation soldier and the illegal settler. 

As Abdul-Rahman Miswada was stil alive, bleeding on the ground, these two were given medical aid near him - an example of the cruelty and racism inherent in Israeli occupation and the operation of it's occupation forces and Magen David Adom, Israeli affiliate of the International Committee of the Red Cross.

As part of gaining of membership of the ICRC Magen David Adom promised not to operate in the occupied areas, including in East Jerusalem. That deal that has been broken. Magen David Adom's medics are also sometimes seen carrying assault rifles and transporting them in their ambulances, which also jeopardizes their status in a conflict area - but them leaving wounded Palestinians to die is the main issue, which ICRC must face.

On Saturday night 21 y/o Omar Yasser Skafi from Beit Hanina in occupied East Jerusalem was shot and killed in West Jerusalem's Romema area. Israel's occupation forces story about the events started to fall apart as soon as it was announced. 

Israeli occupation forces claimed that Skafi had "rammed" one person with a car and "stabbed" two others, but had to soon acknowledge that altogether another person was behind what had been a vehicular accident, apparently caused by Skafi's shooting; a person scared by it had ran before a car and had been hit by it. 
The claim of two "stabbed" persons was soon reduced to one person treated for "shock" and one Israeli occupation soldier with "very light injury" according to an Israeli hospital's claim.

IHAB FATHI MISWADI

On Monday afternoon 21 y/o Ihab Fathi Miswadi was shot and left to die without medical aid by Israel's occupation forces near Hebron's Ibrahimi mosque, the site of the 1994 massacre of 29 Palestinians by US bornillegal Israeli settler Baruch Goldstein. 

Miswadi allegedly stabbed a middle-aged illegal Israeli settler - in early reports an occupation forces' officer - and photographs seem to confirm this, with aid being given to a man in civilian clothes beside Miswadi, who gets no attention from the Israeli occupation soldiers and Israeli medics.

Israel's occupation forces also stopped Palestinian medics from reaching Miswadi.

This kind of behaviour is not only a war crime, but against basic standards of human moral behaviour even in conflicts - yet it has been the norm during the uprising, Israeli occupation apparently believing that terror of this nature will make the occupied Palestinians yield. 

On photos taken from the scene the knife allegedly used in the attack was moved between photos, but at least in one photo blood can be clearly seen.

MALIK AKRAM SHAHIN

Israel's occupation forces shot 19 or 21 y/o Malik Akram Shahin in forehead during early Tuesday invasion of Duheisha refugee camp in Bethlehem, with the bullet left lodged in his head. 

Shahin was left without medical aid for an extended period before he could be evacuated to a hospital in Beit Jala, where he was pronounced dead.

 Israeli occupation forces invasion has been described as 'indiscriminate', with the occupation forces firing live bullets, stun grenades and tear gas grenades throughout the crowded refugee camp. At least five youths were detained.

Shahin has been already buried. According to the secular, leftwing PFLP he was its member and its members carried his body in the funeral.

THE EYE OF YARMOUK AND THE ANTI-ISIS FIGHTER: THE FATE OF TWO PALESTINIANS FROM YARMOUK REFUGEE CAMP

The fate of Yarmouk Palestinian refugee camp in Syria's Damascus has been largely ignored by the mainstream media since the Islamic State took control of large part of the camp during the spring, with fighting ongoing ever since.

On December 4 a single little article, in a web site dedicated to Palestinian refugees in Syria and noticed by few, told of the end of the life of one young Palestinian refugee, Ahmad Mahmoud Aziema, in that combat still being fought among the ruins of Yarmouk: 

"The Palestinian Refugee "Ahmad Mahmoud Aziema" died at the entrance area of Yarmouk camp which is under the Regime's control. Ahmad was fighting alongside the Syrian Regime forces and its militias against Al-Nusra Front and ISIS inside the camp.

It is noteworthy that the bad economic conditions and the exploitations of some factions in addition to the high rate of unemployment had pushed many Palestinian refugees to join the Pro-Regime militias, not forgetting that there are other segments which are officially inducted by the Syrian Security Branches and instructed to play a specific role in the field.

AGPS statistics refer to (681) Palestinian Syrian victims died during participation in Pro-Regime clashes in Syria."

He probably fought among a secular group aligned with the Syrian government forces, like PFLP-GC or Fatah al-Intifada, but we don't know which. We just know that he died in a war that was not his own, away from his homeland he had never known. 

Perhaps 3000-4000 civilians remain in Yarmouk of the 18 000 - 22 000 before the Islamic State's advance. Before the war in Syria Yarmouk was known as the "capital of the Palestinian diaspora" and had population of 160 000, of whose 147 000 were registered Palestinian refugees. 

Many of those who remain live in fear both of the Islamic State, al-Qaeda's al-Nusra Front that has a complicated, fluctuating relationship with IS in the Damascus region, and the state forces - fearing forced conscription, imprisonment and death.

Photographer Niraz Saied had chronicled the fate of the camp's inhabitants through years of war and siege until he left the camp in September for the state controlled part of Damascus. In the early hours of 4 October he was "disappeared" by the state and nothing has been heard of him. 

"The Eye of Yarmouk" as he has been called had, won European Union and UNRWA's join photography competition with his photograph "The Three Kings" - of three young brothers waiting to get outside of the camp to receive medical treatment - but even this amount of publicity or the spread of his photography in mainstream media (which, except in Spanish speaking countries, has been silent of his current fate) didn't protect him.

Saied's Facebook pages, where he showed his photography and through them the fate of the Palestinian refugees of the camp and others who had sought what kind of safety it could offer during the war, were closed. Through that act, much of his photography is as unavailable to the world as he is himself. 

We don't know if Niraz Saied is still alive, or whether he has become one of the Palestinian victims of Syria's war, like Ahmad Mahmoud Aziema.

Together the fate of these two young refugees shows the almost impossible situation in which the Palestinian refugee community in Syria has been forced into, facing danger from all directions and rejection when they seek refuge from Jordan, Lebanon, Turkey or Europe, where over 36 000 Palestinian refugees have arrived through Mediterranean crossing this year, with hundreds perishing during the voyage.

The announcement of him winning the photography quoted Saied himself thus:

“You can’t find a complete family in the refugee camp. I used to feel that in every portrait of a Palestinian family you could see the shadow of a person missing, and that is why my photos are dimly lit. 

“But there is always hope. Difficult times have fallen on Yarmouk camp before and they have always passed. The Palestinians continue to struggle to live. The Palestinian people appreciate life and deserve life. Despite all that they live through, they hope that tomorrow will be a better day.”

US citizen Abed al-Rahman al-Barghouthi(27) returned from visit to his fiancee to the village of Abud where he was residing. As he arrived, there were ongoing clashes with Israel's occupation forces. Car driver that had given him lift dropped him at the outskirts as a result, and he started to walk the rest of the way. 

According to eye-witnesses as al-Barghouthi was walking hands up, two Israeli occupation soldiers emerged from an olive grove and shot him several times, in neck and arm, before placing a knife beside´him.

Israel's occupation forces claim that al-Barghouthi "had tried to stab a soldier" and that the occupation soldier was supposedly "moderately injured". 

As a result of Israel's occupation forces' restrictions, ambulance was not able to reach him before he died. As ambulance was taking his body off, Israeli occupation soldiers tried to stop it but local youths throwing stones at them were able to help the ambulance get away, even when the Israeli occupation soldiers opened fire.
Abed al-Rahman al-Barghouthi was on a visit from the United States, where he permanently lived, arriving to Palestine to prepare for marriage. After the first version of this photo was posted, Israel's occupation forces invaded Ramallah hospital where his body was taken in an effort to take it.

Earlier during the day 21 y/o barber Anas Bassam Hammad was shot in his car at the entrance to the town of Silwad north of Ramallah by Israel's occupation forces. Israeli occupation claimed that he "rammed" his car into group of Israel's occupation soldiers, "mildly injuring" two. 

Hammad's car, after crashing out of the road, was jammed between branches of a tree on the side of the road.

Israel's occupation forces attacked medics and locals trying to reach Hammad with tear gas and gunfire, wounding four people, including journalist Shatha Hammad. Anas' parents also made a failed attempt to reach their son. 
As a result of this Anas Bassam Hammad died inside his car. This is another example of Israel's occupation forces' denial of medical help to wounded Palestinians. We don't know if Hammad could have been helped, but Israeli occupation made sure that he wasn't. 
We reported yesterday of the deaths of two Palestinian teens in occupied Hebron's Tel Rumeida during the previous night and wrote that details were subject to change as more information came available.

That includes even the name of one of the boys killed, as we can now report that the victims were Taher Faysal Fannoun(19) and Faysal Abd al-Minem Fannoun(15).

One Palestinian source claims that the boys were actually shot by Israel's illegal settlers. Israel's occupation forces claim that the boys were shot and killed after allegedly "stabbing" Israeli occupation soldier in face. 

Faysal Fannoun is the 25th minor killed by Israel's occupation forces during the uprising.

Like in the two above cases, there is no confirmed photographic or video evidence available to us that would indicate any actual injury to Israel's occupation forces' members.

In an astoundingly biased article of the events of Friday even for it's own standards BBC used a photo of Israeli occupation soldier in apparent good condition being taken out of an ambulance. The photo, whose copyright is held by Reuters, could not be traced and apparently has not been used by Reuters or anyone else in recent days. 
Elsewhere in occupied Palestine, including the besieged Gaza Strip, 55 Palestinians had been wounded by Israel's occupation forces by the mid-evening.

Israel's occupation forces killed Palestinian Authority intelligence officer Mazin Hasan Ureiba at or near Israeli occupation forces checkpoint in Hizma on the occupied West Bank, north of occupied East Jerusalem. 

Israel's occupation forces claim that Ureiba would have stepped out of his car at the checkpoint with a gun and started to fire at Israeli occupation forces, injuring one Israeli occupation soldier and one illegal Israeli settler, the former lightly at hand, the latter - a 47 y/o man - supposedly critically.

Few details speak against this: Ureiba was not shot and killed at the checkpoint, but at some distance away from it, there is no weapon or spent shells near his body in any of the photos and based on the way he fell to the ground, he might have been shot from the back. 

Ureiba is also claimed to have been shot by the injured illegal Israeli settler, not Israel's occupation forces. He was from Abu Dis, east of occupied East Jerusalem, and a father of four children. 

Later, during the evening, Ezz Aldeen Radad, a 21 y/o youth from Tulkarem on the occupied West Bank was shot and killed near the Damascus Gate in occupied East Jerusalem after allegedly stabbing Israel's occupation forces soldier or occupation policeman based on different sources.

The supposedly stabbed occupation forces member suffered 'moderate injuries' according to the Israeli occupation. There is no evidence of medical aid being given to the youth, nor news of how quickly he died. 

Ezz Aldeen Radad was stripped and left to lie on ground fully naked, to be gawked at, as Israel's occupation forces commonly do to Palestinians they kill and wound.

The idea behind this is an attempt to humiliate the wounded and the dying, the dead even in death and their families and nation.

This basically primitive ritual of attempted humiliation of the dying and the dead is something which 'Western' mainstream media is totally silent of, as it's too revealing of the barbaric nature of Israeli occupation - as were the crowd of hundreds of illegal Israeli settlers who gathered at the scene to gawk at his dead, naked corpse. 

The last victims of the day came during the early hours of the night, as cousins Mustafa Fanoun and Taher Fanoun were shot and killed in occupied Hebron's Tel Rumeida by Israel's occupation forces.

According to unconfirmed claim the boys were underage and would then be the 25th and 26th minors killed during the uprising by Israel.

There is relatively little in the way of information available from news sources at this point, so our readers can expect some details to change as more reports are published.

Israel's occupation forces' claims are the usual ones: The cousins supposedly stabbed Israel's occupation forces soldier - with a knife that afterwards appears to have no blood in it, though the light conditions were dark admittedly - and were shot dead. 

There is an unconfirmed claim reported by @PalinfoAr, that the father of Taher Fanoun would have said that his family had found a message from their son, which read "Forgive me". He also published a short video of him and his cousin online only two hours before they were killed.

These facts, more than anything that Israel's occupation forces claim, would in our opinion show that this was likely to be a real attack. But at this point it's unconfirmed and as far as we know, reported by no other source.

Stabbing of occupation forces' soldier no way justifies killing the youths, or any violence towards them beyond the point they would not have caused any threat.

Especially as Israel's occupation forces' photo show only one knife, which would mean that one of the youth would have been unarmed, if this was a real attack against Israeli occupation forces.

Based on photos of the scene of their deaths, they were left without medical aid and Taher appears to have been shot in his stomach.

Former political prisoner Maram Ramez Hassouna(19) was shot and killed at Israel's occupation forces' checkpoint between Nablus and Tulkarem, near the illegal colony of Enav on the West Bank. 

Israel's occupation forces claimed that she "had a knife" and Hassouna was previously accused and sentenced by Israeli occupation court for alleged attempt at stab Israel's occupation
forces' member at same checkpoint, but eye-witnesses claim that she was shot from occupation military tower without any occupation soldiers being near her.

Occupation forces denied medical aid for her, stopped Palestinian ambulance from reaching her and took her body away. 

She was released a year ago after one year (according to another source, seven months) imprisonment, which itself indicates that the previous claim was a shaky, otherwise she would have faced up to several decades in occupation imprisonment.

No knife can be seen in photos of the scene of her death. She was from Rafidia in the larger Nablus area and had studied in university since her release from occupation jail.

Few hours earlier 16 y/o Mamoun al-Khatib was shot and killed by Israel's occupation forces at a road junction in the illegal Gush Etzion colony bloc. 

Israeli occupation claimed that the boy "had tried to attack a settler", but the only illegal Israeli settler injured according to the Israeli occupation's own account was a middle-aged man hit in arm by Israel's occupation own forces.

The illegal Israeli settler was given medical aid, unlike the dying boy, who was left to bleed. 
Mamoun al-Khatib was from the village of Doha near Bethlehem and was on tenth grade in school. He's the 24th Palestinian minor to be killed by Israel's occupation forces and illegal Israeli settlers during the uprising.

THE DUTCH DOGS OF ISRAELI OCCUPATION

Israel is using dogs imported from the Netherlands to terrorize Palestinians in the occupied territories. 

There is a long history of Israeli use of dogs against Palestinians - including training dogs to be suicide bombers to attack the positions of Palestinian resistance group PFLP-GC during Israel's occupation of southern Lebanon in 1988.

It's claimed that Israel uses more dogs in military activities than any other state in the world. Much of this happens under the dedicated Unit 7142.

The training and treatment of these dogs themselves is not, of course, good.
At the same time Israel has committed large-scale killings of dogs owned by Palestinians - one massacre in occupied Hebron 1995 led to the killings of up to 150 dogs by Israel's occupation forces. 
Dogs owned by Palestinians, especially those owned by shepherds, are often killed by Israel's illegal settlers.

Adri Nieuwhof writes:

"This video shows Israeli forces using a dog to attack and injure 20-year-old Ahmad Shteiwi as he participated in an anti-occupation protest in the West Bank village of Kufr Qaddoum, near Nablus, in March 2012. 

It is one of numerous instances of Israeli forces setting dogs on unarmed Palestinian civilians, including children – a violent tactic reminiscent of US police practices against Black citizens.

The Palestinian human rights group Al-Haq and Dutch lawmakers are calling on the Netherlands to immediately halt the annual export of dozens of police and military dogs to Israel.

Such dogs “are intentionally used by Israeli occupying forces to terrorize and bite Palestinian civilians, especially during protests and night house raids,” Al-Haq director Shawan Jabarin wrote to Dutch foreign minister Bert Koenders and trade minister Lilianne Ploumen earlier this month."

14 y/o Sabrin Sanad was arrested by Israel's occupation forces at their checkpoint in al-Nashash, south of Bethlehem, on Tuesday.

The occupation forces claim that they found a knife from her bag, but a driver waiting on the checkpoint recorded - apparently with a mobile phone's camera, which resulted in a low quality - occupation soldier demanding that she take a knife from him. throwing it at her and then, with another occupation soldier, forcing her to pick it up. 
She is currently imprisoned in Israeli occupation's HaSharon prison and could be charged when 'presented' to the occupation's Ofer prison on the occupied West Bank on Thursday.
