Skull fuels Homo erectus debate.

It´s pretty problematic to declare every new fossil which is
little different to be a representative of a new subspecies or
species. In Homo sapiens sapiens the difference between the
smallest and tallest adult member of our species that has lived
is 203 centimeters. The variation can be huge and when we
many times don´t know the gender of the remains - and the
difference between male and female members of species was
ape-like (great differences in height) in early hominids
and in diminished form is true today - nor sometimes the age
of the hominid when it died, then declaring new species on
the basis of few remains is problematic.
