UN debates Israeli barrier ruling

The Americans resemble the kind of people who write marriage proposals
for famous convicted murderers in prison. The more heinous the crime, the
greater number of letters. And the American politicians have been now sending
for decades continous stream of love letters to the criminals in charge in Israel.
This is a lasting love affair, the affairs with dictatorships around the world are
just summer romances.

It´s an interesting thing that the USA fell in love with Israel at the same time
it was starting to grope for an exit from Vietnam. Israel became the kind of
country USA wanted South Vietnam to be; a heroic bastion of American values
against the barbaric armies of the Other.

Where individuals can have ant farms or aquaries, the USA has Israel, it´s
favorite hobby.
