ILLEGAL ISRAELI SETTLER DRIVER INJURES ELDERLY PALESTINIAN, SON ARRESTED BY THE OCCUPATION

Hussain Daud Moussa(65) was hit by an illegal Israeli settler's car in or near the town of al-Khader on the occupied West Bank as he was riding his donkey.

Moussa, a farmer, was on his way to his agricultural land when he was hit by the car. Palestinian sources claim he was intentionally hit.

There are claims that Israel's occupation forces would have denied him medical care and that an Israeli occupation ambulance crew would have refused to take him to a hospital.

What we do know is that his son Ahmed was arrested by Israel's occupation forces when he tried to help his injured father.

The illegal Israeli settler driving the car - which suffered significant damage - was not arrested.

His identity is not known, but in photographs an illegal Israeli settlers carrying an assault rifle and smoking (near car whose is possibly leaking engine oil and gasoline) is seen walking around with a mobile phone.

Eventually Hussain Moussa was taken to a hospital, either in a Palestinian or in an Israeli occupation ambulance based on sources. He suffered bone fractures, bruises and scratches.

Photographs from the site of the incident imply that his donkey, injured in the accident, died either as a result of injuries or was 'put down'.
