IPNOT PICTURE OF THE DAY September 10th: Funeral of Abd al-Rahman Ahmad al-Dabbagh
Besieged Gaza Strip teenager Abd al-Rahman Ahmad al-Dabbagh was shot in his temple just above his left eye on Friday by an Israeli occupation forces' sniper.
He was declared dead on arrival to hospital and his funeral was held today.
Yesterday we reported that Abd al-Rahman Ahmad al-Dabbagh's age was between 17-19, but some sources report he was as young as 16.
The teen was taking part in a Friday demonstration against the Israeli occupation and siege east of the al-Bureiji refugee camp. Israeli occupation has declared the Gaza side of the border 'buffer zone' closed from Palestinians.
This is supposedly to protect the occupier and besieger from the prisoners of the world's biggest open air prison, but only Israeli killed at the border since the 2014 war has been a Shin Bet operative Amir Maimoni(29), whom Israeli occupation soldiers shot dead in March this year, believing that he was a Palestinian. The killed operative was apparently wearing civilian clothes.
