The possible planet imagined last year near the brown dwarf 2M1207A has been confirmed to be orbiting the brown dwarf. It´s mass is about five times that of Jupiter´s and it´s distance from the brown dwarf is 55 times that of Earth´s distance from our sun. This is the first confirmed image of a planet outside our own solar system. More.
