Zimbabwe election fraudulent, says MDC leader

Quote:

The Zimbabwean parliament's 120 seats are at stake, and a further 30 are appointed by Mr Mugabe, giving Zanu-PF a head start over the MDC. Voter turnout, estimated from official figures, was around 42%, compared to 48% at the last parliamentary election in 2000.
Electoral officials said around 10% of voters had been turned away from polling stations in six of Zimbabwe's 10 provinces, either for lacking proper identity documents or being at the wrong voting centre. An independent poll monitoring group put the number of voters turned away at as high as 25%.
