TEENAGER KILLED IN OCCUPIED EAST JERUSALEM'S SILWAN BY ISRAEL

TEENAGER KILLED IN OCCUPIED EAST JERUSALEM'S SILWAN BY ISRAEL

Israel's occupation forces have shot & killed Ayman Samih Al-Abbasi, aged at most 18, late on this evening in Ras al-Amud in East Jerusalem.

Ayman al-Abbasi, from Silwan, was a former political prisoner, released on February 5th this year after 1.5 years imprisonment; he had also been under house arrest for ten months. In different sources his age has been given as between 15-18; most sources say he was aged 17 or 18.
His brother Mohammed(21) was sentenced 7 1/2 years imprisonment by the Israeli occupation at the same time as he and is still in occupation prison.

Ayman al-Abbasi was shot in chest during clashes between local youths and Israel's occupation forces near illegal Israeli colony outpost.

At some point the Israel's occupation besieged the local medical centre in an effort to gain access to the wounded taken there.

At this point there is confusion in the chronology of the events; one source says that Israel's occupation forces besieged the medical centre in an effort to kidnap the then still living al-Abbasi.

Another youth was shot in head and is in hospital in "a very serious condition".
