US marine commander declares victory in Iraq. I know that the American military isn´t known for the genius of it´s top brass, but even they should know that a)it´s stupid to declare these kind of things, when they will be certainly proved to be false and that b)these kinds of claims only make the guerillas to intensify their attacks to show that the claims are wrong, which means that more soldiers and especially civilians will die.
