The mastermind behind excuses of US government´s use of torture is the new US attorney general. Gonzales claimed that if US soldiers or staff of government agencies torture people on the orders of the president, then they can´t be prosecuted, and that international treaties considering prisoners of war are not binding if Bush says so. And now he gets his reward.
