IPNOT PICTURE OF THE DAY for July 9th: Israeli occupation blocks the entrance to as-Sammou in Hebron district
As the world looks away, Israel continues to block the city of Hebron and towns and villages near it from the outside world for the ninth day.
On Saturday July 9th Israeli occupation forces blocked the entrance to the village of as-Sammu with dirt embankment and rocks. The village has a population of over 20 000 residents.
Israeli occupation has not only forbidden vehicular traffic to and off from the besieged population centres, but at least in the case of the town of Bani Naim, has forbidden movement in and out of the town on foot also.
