TWO CHILDREN KILLED IN ISRAELI OCCUPIED HEBRON ON THURSDAY

You would not know from the reporting of 'Western' media that two children died yesterday, Thursday June 30th, in the illegal Israeli colony of Kiryat Arba in Palestine's occupied Hebron.

From reading 'Western' media you know that "Israeli-American girl, 13, fatally stabbed in West Bank home"(CNN). Her name was Hallel Yaffe Ariel and we condemn her stabbing. A 31 y/o illegal Israeli settler male was also apparently wounded by 'friendly fire'.

But Mohammad Nasser Mahmoud Tarayra(17) was also killed. An another child killed by illegal Israeli settler guard in an illegal Israeli colony on occupied land. A child whose relative Yousef Waleed Tarayra(18) was shot and left to bleed to death on Monday March 14th this year by Israel's occupation forces, also in Hebron.

What Mohammad Tarayra went through in his short life doesn't excuse killing Hallel Ariel. But it explains why he went to the illegal Israeli colony yesterday, almost certainly knowing he would die. He had lived his whole life under Israeli occupation.

Occupation, whose face to the people of Hebron are the fanatical illegal Israeli settlers. Occupation, which took the lives of those two children to add to the tens of thousands of lives lost before.

When it comes to Hallel Yaffe Ariel, she deserved to like. Just like Mohammad Tarayra and Yousef Tarayra deserved to live. She was, for all purposes, a human shield used by Israel and its illegal settlers to protect the occupation and theft of land in Hebron. She, like Mohammad and Yousef deserved more. All of them deserved to live.

Israel has already began collective punishment against Mohammed Tarayra's home town of Bani Naim. Which was also the home of Majd al-Khadour, an 18 y/o mother of one shot death in her car by Israel's occupation forces. His family home will be destroyed by the occupation.
