ISRAELI OCCUPATION BESIEGES, INVADES SAIR AFTER ILLEGAL ISRAELI SETTLER IS WOUNDED
A male illegal Israeli settler was moderately wounded in his lower limbs as his car was shot at during the night of July 9-10 near the illegal colony of Teqoa and the Palestinian town of Tuqu on the occupied West Bank.
Afterwards Israel's occupation forces' besieged and then invaded the much suffering nearby town of Sair, firing live ammunition, rubber-coated steel bullets and both stun and tear gas grenades at dozens of local youths resisting the invasion.
Four people were wounded and three kidnapped from Sair, which has lost at least 13 of it's youth to Israel's occupation forces bullets since the current uprising began.
Dozens of people also suffered from effects of tear gas inhalation which can be dangerous in confined spaces and to the very old and the very young, and with people with existing conditions like asthma.
The besieging of towns and villages after resistance attacks are a collective punishment and a war crime under international law.
