PALESTINIAN KILLED AFTER ALLEGED 'STABBING ATTACK' IN ISRAEL'S NETANYA

Palestinian Wael Yousef Abu Saleh was killed - in Israel's terminology 'neutralized' on Thursday evening in Israeli town of Netanya by an armed Israeli civilian after allegedly stabbing and injuring 2-3 Israeli civilians.

Wael Abu Saleh, in different sources aged 23 or 46, was left to bleed while the injured Israelis were tended for. It's hard to say from photos which age estimate is the correct one, but we suspect the latter is more likely to be correct. He was from Shweika in Tulkarem on the occupied West Bank.

One of the injured Israelis was reported to be a woman aged 62. A man in his 40s and woman or women aged in their 30s were the other person(s) reported injured. Based on photographs we have some doubts about the correctness of the ages.

Netanya was established as a Jews-only town by Zionists during the British mandate in 1929 and only 0.1 % of its population are Palestinian citizens of Israel. It's an example of the deep segregation in the state of Israel.
