4.6 of new housing in Israel is being build for non-Jewish part of population, 23.5 % of it.

Housing really is strictly segregated, as the destruction of Bedouin villages like Umm al-Hiran to make a way for a Jews-only town shows - the idea that the existing population could live side-by-side with Jews is beyond the pale for Israeli Jewish politicians and judiciary.

In Galilee Israel has been trying to isolate Arab communities from each other since the 1960s by establishing new Jewish communities between them so that any future 'land swap' or other territorial change could not be possible. Part of this any territorial growth of Arab communities - or let's use the correct term, Palestinian ones - has been made almost impossible.

25 000 currently existing Arab homes have been ordered to be demolished by Israel in Palestine 1948. This is more than the current list for homes to be destroyed in the occupied territories, which stands at 20 000.

Urban planning has been organized so that for Arab majority towns and villages they are basically always in hands of the nearby Jewish communities. There are basically no Arabs in urban planning roles higher than surveyors.

In the 'redevelopment' of Jaffa Arabs trying to buy homes are simply turned away. They don't even get to the bidding process.

Last year Israel's government was planning for 300 000 more Jews to be settled in Galilee.

Any story that gives the whole picture makes Israel look bad.
