FORMER ISRAELI MINISTER REHAVAM ZE'EVI ACCUSED OF RAPE
On August 27 Israel murdered PFLP's leader Ali Abu Mustafa(1938-2001) in his office in Ramallah on the occupied West Bank.
17 October that year far-right Israeli cabinet minister and former general Rehavam Ze’evi(1926-2001) was shot and killed in assassination of which PFLP took credit, calling it revenge for Ali Abu Mustafa's murder.
As a result British and United States' pressure over Ze'evi's death, Palestinian Authority imprisoned PFLP's new leader Ahmad Sa'adat(1953-) and others accused of the killing in 2002.
In March 2006 UK and USA guards guarding PFLP prisoners left the Jericho prison they were held by making accusation against PA that it supposedly wasn't following the deal and used this as a blatant excuse to open the way for Israeli occupation to attack the prison.
In the ensuing Israeli attack 2 Palestinian prison guards were killed and 28 other Palestinians wounded. Sa'adat and five others were taken by Israeli occupation and later sentenced to long sentences in prison; most to longer than any Nazi war criminal except Rudolf Hess had served - except Majdi Rahima Rimawi, who was sentenced to life imprisonment and 80 years, which means that Israel intends to keep his body for 80 years after his death.
After his death Ze'evi, still the highest ranking member of Israeli occupation to be killed this century by the Palestinian resistance, was celebrated as a Zionist martyr and got various commemorations and places named after him, even when he had already in 1975 been accused of connections to serious organized crime and had lost a libel case trying to prove otherwise.
Now Israeli TV program Uvda will air on next Thursday a program, where so far unnamed woman accuses Ze'evi of raping her. Only a segment has been shown and we have to wait for Thursday until more details.
One thing we can say now:
Palestine wasn't the only victim that Ze'evi had violated.
