HUNGER-STRIKER JANAZREH SUFFERS INJURY

Palestinian political prisoner and hunger-striker Sami Janazreh(43) fainted and hit his head on Wednesday, suffering a deep cut in his head, while he was moved from Israel's Ktziot jail in Negev to solitary confinement in the Ela jail in Beersheba.

By Saturday Janazreh has been on hunger-strike for 51 days, demanding an end to his imprisonment without charge. He has been previously jailed for seven years by the Israeli occupation, which has also imprisoned three of his brothers previously.

Janazreh, from the al-Fawwar refugee camp, currently weights just 52 kilograms and is suffering from low blood pressure and seizures beyond episodes of fainting.
