The European Union needs to be consistent in its foreign policy.

The European Union is actively supporting Morocco's occupation and attempted annexation of Western Sahara. Against international law and court rulings. 

While EU makes sermons amount national sovereignty and territorial integrity when it comes to Denmark and Ukraine.

When the Union supports annexation by an invader in Western Sahara, it breaks down international order and law and helps to create a world where the United States can invade and annex Greenland and get away with it.

The "reality on the ground" is illegal occupation by Morocco and the Saharawi's peoples right to self-determination as guaranteed by the World Court in The Hague. Morocco has no more claim on Western Sahara than Russia has on Ukraine or the United States on Greenland.

The European Union might as well "accept the reality on the ground" when it comes to member-state Cyprus northern territory, occupied by Turkey a year longer than Morocco has occupied Western Sahara or "accept the reality" of Russian control of occupied Ukrainian territory.

Strong European sanctions against Morocco would end the occupation.
