WESTERN SAHARA AND THE EUROPEAN UNION 4

In contravention to a World Court ruling and established international law, the European Union supports annexation of occupied Western Sahara by its northern neighbour and occupier Morocco.

The European Union Commission and the European Parliament want to label all products from occupied Western Sahara to be labelled to be from "Morocco".

According to the EU, ICJ-CIJ's 1975 ruling dismissing Morocco's claim on Western Sahara should be ignored, UN-run referendum agreed in 1991 armistice shouldn't be held & Western Sahara should given 'autonomy' defined by the occupier Morocco with Saharawis having no say when it comes to the fate of their oppressed nation and themselves.
